About Your Fishing Trip:

Important Note: Texas law requires a valid Fishing License with a Saltwater Stamp to fish or board the boat. Licenses are available online or at sporting goods stores, HEB, Walmart, and local tackle shops. Visit TPWD Here!

There are 4 types of fishing trips: bay fishing, wade fishing, airboat fishing and tournament guide fishing. Capt. Jeff furnishes the boat, life vests (adult/child sizes - or bring you own), rods & reels or you can bring your own. Just let the captain know ahead of time.) On the boat, there's an iced-down chest for cold drinks and a dry area for snacks and belongings. Other items to bring would be a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, light or loose long-sleeved shirt or jacket. Dress for the Weather!

Tournament Fishing:

Prices, dates and time will vary. Capt. Jeff will contact you in advance with all the specifics prior to the tournament and with his knowledge and experience, help you catch a "Trophy Fish!" As always, a tip for a great day on the water is appreciated! Dress for the Weather and reserve early as trip dates will vary and Capt. Jeff's schedule for tournaments fills-up quickly.

Cedar Bayou Outfitters offers Corporate Trips and Employee Outings throughout the year. Multiple boats are available with advance notice for a fun-filled day of excitement and great fishing for all! A tip for a great day on the water is much appreciated! Capt. Jeff will contact you with all the details once you have reserved your date(dates) and he's received your deposit. Deposit will vary from group to group and number of boats needed, so prices do vary.

About Your Hunting Trips:

Capt. Jeff is one of the best duck hunting guides in South Texas! He furnishes everything (and you supply your guns and ammo), then takes you to remote and secret "brushed and "decoyed" blinds around Aransas Bay. His goal is to provide your group with the best duck hunting experience possible.

Don't forget about the Blast and Cast Trip! Excellent Duck Hunting in the morning and Awesome Fishing in the Afternoon! It's the Best of Both Worlds!!

You'll travel on the captain's 17' airboat to well maintained, brushed and decoyed blinds in the area. Hunters furnish their own guns and ammo, camouflaged apparel, boots and whatever small equipment you usually take when hunting. Capt. Jeff's trusty hunting partner - a friendly yellow lab, will join the group for retrieval purposes. Dress for the Weather! There are 2 types of hunting trips: early am duck hunting or a combo trip that offers hunting in the morning and fishing in the afternoon. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a "Blast and Cast" trip! A tip for a great day of hunting and fishing is most appreciated!

Cancellation Policy Applies to All Trips:

Captain Jeff Sims reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond his control. If you, the customer, needs to cancel, you can do so and receive a full refund, but you must speak with the captain for a verbal or written cancellation notice 10-days prior to your reserved trip date for a full refund. In order to receive a full refund, written or verbal notice of cancellation must be received 10 days prior to your trip date. Another option would be to let the captain work with you to reschedule the trip in the future!
